Dear Volunteer,
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the
2023 Children's Water Education Festival.
The
Festival will take place in
March 29-30, 2023
at the
University of California, Irvine.
Hundreds of volunteers are needed for a variety of positions, such as
festival guides, registration attendants and activity aides, to
support this exciting event. Volunteer shifts are also available on
set up day,
March 28.
All shifts will be scheduled based upon a volunteer's
availability and the needs of the Festival. Volunteers must be at
least 15 years of age at the time or their volunteer shift.
Since inception, more than 142,000 children from throughout Orange
County have attended the award-winning Children's Water Education
Festival, which is recognized nationally as the largest event of its
kind. Its mission is to educate students about water-related and
environmental issues. Never has there been a more important time to
teach our children that they can make a difference in protecting our
water resources and environment for today, tomorrow and the future.
The longevity and success of this award-winning event is the result of
volunteer participation from individuals and groups who understand the
value and importance of community involvement. We hope you will join us
at the Festival and volunteer your time for this worthwhile cause. If
you know of others who may be interested in volunteering, please
forward this information to them. Groups are also welcome.
Thank you for your support. We truly appreciate your commitment and your time;
the Festival would not be possible without individuals like you.
